There was something special about family videos growing up.

When I incorporate vintage camcorder footage into your session, I'm recreating that feeling....the feeling of stumbling across an old VHS tape and being transported back in time.
Anyone can record a video on a smartphone, but vintage camcorders create something different.

It's one of my favorite ways to tell a family's story and add another layer of emotion to your final gallery. Most of the time its your very own family and friends behind the camera... getting the most incredible authentic captures of your day. Something that, as charming as I may be haha, just isn't as easily recreated from an outsider. (Plus, one of my favorite things I desperately miss from old vhs tapes and dvd's were the epic behind the scenes videos. I feel like those clips were often the ones where you truly got a sense of who each actor and actress was as a person. It brought a relatability to the entire film I feel has gotten list along the way in filmmaking and I ADORE bringing those old feelings back through this sort of unique approach)
